From a young age, we are given a series of scripts. They are inscribed into us by our families, our peers, and our societies. These scripts can keep us functional, efficient even, but our modern lives are far more complex than these scripts acknowledge.

These messages are not prescribed to enhance our well-being, or bring about a heightening of our consciousness. They teach us to avoid looking for the real reasons that we repeat unhealthy patterns. As we learn to avoid truths within ourselves, we also learn to avoid truths about the many failing systems of the world we inhabit.

This is by design. Patterns are profitable.

The Impasse Life Recovery program was designed by an M.A. in psychology who has been on both sides of the curtain. The ILR program bridges gaps where the mental health industry has fallen short for so many. By focusing on transforming these internalized scripts into forms that are healthy and adaptive to the human experience, we can improve the quality of the only life that we know we have.
