We rarely grasp the profound effects that external scripts have on our lives. From a young age, they are inscribed into us: by our families, by our peers, and our respective societies. These scripts keep us functional, efficient even, but the struggles of modern life are far more complex than these messages acknowledge. This is not a coincidence.

This kind of messaging is not prescribed to enhance well-being, nor to heighten collective awareness. Instead, it teaches us not to question the real reasons that we repeat unhealthy patterns, so we do not question the failing systems of the world we inhabit. Patterns are profitable, after all, and profit is the ultimate goal.

The Impasse Life Recovery program was designed by an M.A. in psychology who has seen both sides of the curtain. The ILR program bridges gaps where the traditional mental health industry has fallen short, by teaching us to adapt those unconsciously internalized scripts into forms that are healthy and adaptive to the human experience.
