FAQs

What is corrective exercise and why is it important?

Our bodies are professional pattern-holders.

Due to the demands of our lifestyles, habits, and the constant demands of gravity, our skeletal, muscular, and soft tissues become locked into inefficient, and even detrimental patterns. This manifests into untrained posture, unstable joints, and improper movement patterns. The resulting compromises in mobility lead to changes in joint function, resulting in wear and tear and a heightened risk for serious injury.

Corrective exercise is the key to understanding your body’s abilities and limitations, to keep all of your body’s systems operating in an efficient, productive manner.

Why is every plan three-months in duration?

As much as we would like it to be the case, change is not instantaneous.

This is particularly true when it comes to our bodies. Soft tissue changes alone can take multiple months to fully remodel, and adapting our ingrained patterns of movement and posture into more healthy ones can be a gradual process.

In a more general sense, these programs will teach you the most optimal ways to treat your body and maintain your health. This requires adopting new habits. In the same way that bad habits can be hard to break, good habits take a concentrated effort over time to solidify.

Research indicates that any new habit takes us around three to six months to properly integrate into our lives. Though the literature suggests the higher end of that range, I chose three months to make sure our work will stick, while also giving my clients the flexibility to continue on or move forward on their own.

I want to train, but I can’t afford a program.

The combination of my disciplines, certifications, and higher education certainly puts me in a premium bracket for cost. That being said, my purpose is to help others, and I want to make sure that I can help those who need help, not just those who are able to afford a premium service.

If you think you may not be able to afford a full program, please still reach out, we can determine something that makes sense for both parties. If you are reading this, this offer is still on the table, so act quickly before I fill up.

To those who are able to afford a program, understand that the knowledge you will receive far exceeds the price I am charging. This is information that can only be described as invaluable. It is knowledge that you deserved to know long before now, and that you will apply to the rest of your life.

This should be the last health program you ever purchase.

I have spent decades of my life in the realm of physical fitness. I played competitive sports at both the high school and collegiate levels, and I participated in the personal pursuits of crossfit, weightlifting, bodybuilding, and calisthenics.

My work experience in the physical health industry is extensive. I have coached high school men’s lacrosse, completed an internship in sports medicine, and even worked as a cast technician and rehabilitation instructor in an orthopedic foot and ankle restoration office.

In recent years, I moved into the realm of personal training and spent three years at big box gyms before moving into private practice. During my time in big box gyms, I helped my clients achieve significant weight loss goals, helped them gain substantial muscle mass through hypertrophy, and taught them how to prevent unnecessary injury during their pursuits.

Arguably more applicable than my experience in the physical health industry, I have spent extensive time repairing my own body from long-standing damage sustained from my athletic career. Every piece of information I teach is something that I wish I had been taught long ago. Above all else, I want to prevent my clients from following the same path as I had to. Above all else, I seek to bolster my clients’ health spans. I want them to be as functional and healthy as possible for as long as possible.

I now specialize in the domains of corrective exercise, soft-tissue health, and high-performance athletics. No matter what your goals are, I can help you in your pursuit.
